About the Provider

Lena is a nurse-midwife, educator and mindfulness practitioner whose approach to hospital birth blends trauma-informed care, a reproductive-justice framework and practical coping tools from Mindfulness-Based Childbirth and Parenting (MBCP). With experience across home, birth center and hospital settings—and prior work as a full-spectrum doula—she partners with families through labor, emphasizing shared decision-making, emotional resilience and a steady, respectful presence. She is also certified in perinatal mental health.
