From the Provider

“Being able to connect with my patients on a human level is one of the most satisfying aspects of my practice. Whether that’s through humor, a shared experience or working together to plan the best path forward—finding what makes each person comfortable so they can share and feel heard and understood is my goal at every visit.”

About the Provider

With an art degree under her belt, Cassandra’s life plan took a turn after attending the birth of her niece, an experience she describes as “life changing.” After attending home births as a certified labor doula and, later, a professional midwife, she returned to school to become a certified nurse-midwife, allowing her to provide a broader range of care to more people across the lifespan—including pregnancy, gynecology and wellness care. Cassandra enjoys all aspects of prenatal care, birth and supporting people in the transition to parenthood. She is also interested in helping people understand and make decisions about their fertility, including contraceptive and pregnancy options counseling. She has some additional training in gender-affirming hormone therapy and is interested in helping people manage the symptoms of menopause. She enjoys working with teens, transgender and non-binary people and finds it especially rewarding to connect with those who may be visiting a reproductive healthcare specialist for the first time.

Outside of work, Cassandra enjoys being outdoors and hiking with her husband and son. She also paints and does various crafts, including sewing, embroidery and knitting.

More attempt to understand and exploration. I am an individual who needs more detailed explanations.

I have had 6 or 7 colposcopies. This was the first time I was ever offered pain management and I am so grateful. It made something that is typically very painful, frustrating and frightening a breeze. I am recovering much more quickly than I have in the past. I believe it’s because my body was so much less tense and tight during the procedure and so much less anxious and even relaxed by the time it was done as I realized I wasn’t going to suffer like I have in the past. Because I wasn’t so stressed and frightened, I believe that’s why recovery has been easier.
