From the Provider

“I want my patients to feel truly seen and heard—and to have a space that feels safe, consistent and even sacred. Sometimes we find meaning through words, sometimes through metaphor, sometimes through art or a new lens. However we get there, I feel honored to support people as they embark on their therapeutic journey.”

About the Provider

Jenna Johnson brings a deep, creative presence to her work as a behavioral health therapist. Originally trained as an artist, she discovered art therapy as a powerful tool for connection, healing and storytelling—especially during life’s most vulnerable times and transitions. Her journey into perinatal mental health began while navigating her own experience as a new parent and working with pregnant people through creative bodywork. That time sparked an enduring passion for helping people feel grounded, supported and celebrated during major life changes.

Jenna’s approach is warm, flexible and non-prescriptive. She has experience working with a wide range of individuals and families across cultures, ages and identities—including immigrants and LGBTQ+ individuals. Her clinical specialties include perinatal mood disorders, grief and loss in all its forms and identity transitions related to parenting and family. She integrates mindfulness, self-compassion, cognitive behavioral therapy and art therapy to help people access insight, healing and personal meaning—whatever that may look like for them. She is particularly passionate about helping people honor and process grief in a way that brings a sense of ceremony, community and tangible reflection.

Outside of her work, Jenna is a mother of three and an avid hiker who takes full advantage of the Columbia River Gorge and Forest Park. She’s a lover of live music and formerly led outdoor adventure trips and volunteered with a tattoo removal program supporting individuals making life transitions.
