Expanded Space at PPMC Brings Dedicated Midwifery Access to WHA’s Tabor Clinic
We’re thrilled to announce that our Tabor clinic on the campus of Providence Portland Medical Center (PPMC) is expanding—creating more room, greater comfort and something many in our community have been asking for: dedicated access to WHA nurse-midwifery care at PPMC.
Thanks to a timely opportunity, we’re adding a second office suite just down the hall from our current space on the PPMC campus. This means our maternal-fetal medicine and OBGYN care teams currently co-located in Suite 230 will soon have their own dedicated spaces to see patients.
With this expansion, we’re not only reducing crowding and improving clinic flow—we’re also delivering on a clear community need for personalized, relationship-based midwifery care in this part of Portland, which serves the surrounding neighborhoods of Tabor, Rose City, Grant Park, Cully, Hollywood and more.
The additional space also supports streamlined access to services like ultrasound and perinatal mental health, and gives us the flexibility to respond to changing community needs while staying grounded in the patient-centered care that defines WHA.
Our additional space is schedule to open in August, 2025. We can’t wait to welcome you!
